Column for Patti

These will be the hardest words I have ever written in my life. The woman that edited almost every column I have penned over the past 35 years, received her wings last week, and I am devastated beyond words. My Sister-in-Law, Evelyn “Patty” Merriwether Fergerson, the Executive Editor and Co Publisher of the Buffalo Criterion News for the past 50 years received her heavenly reward this week. Patti was my greatest inspiration and motivator to write this column every week for 35 years. She was the first one to assure me I had something of value to say to the community and encouraged me to keep it up. Patty never liked it when I missed a week so she wouldn’t want me to miss this column. As tears are streaming down my eyes, I will try and choke out a column for Patti, so she can edit it from Heaven. God Speed Patti. We will always love you and miss you until we meet again.

This week we learned Trump will deploy about 200 U.S. military personnel to Israel to assist with an operation tied to the bogus cease-fire and humanitarian efforts relating to Gaza. I’m going to make a prediction here. Those US person nel are being set up for a false flag attack that will kick off a full fledge war in the Middle East, and they know it. Recently, the national polls indicat ed more Americans from both parties are turning against Trump’s Isreal first policy and the blatant in our face corruption of our government. Trump knows he will have a big problem come the midterms if something big doesn’t happen. His tory shows us nothing ingratiates a President to the American people more than a good old fashion war. And for war to happen every red-blooded American will need to be onboard with the Israel’s genocidal agenda. They will invent a way.

Few remember the 1983 Beirut barracks bombings, where 220 U. S. Marines were killed in a horrific terrorist attack on the barracks while they slept. This inci dent was the deadli est single-day loss for the U.S. Marine Corps since WW II, in 1945. The attack was blamed on Iran, but oddly President Ronald Reagan didn’t order military action for retribution against anyone. I remember when it happened, and I was sure the US was going to war with somebody, but it never happened. There are those that believe it was a “false flag” operation to sway American public opinion about the evil terrorist sand people of the middle east. I believe American injecting military into Gaza is a set up for worldwide catastro phe.
