Sadie Strong to Host Community Health and Wellness Expo

Sadie Strong is kicking off Breast Cancer Aware ness month on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with the 7th Annual Sadie Strong Community Health and Wellness Expo from 10am to 1pm at the Northland Work force Training Center. This free community event will include health screenings, flu shots, HIV testing, Ask the Doctor workshop, fitness exhibition, hands only CPR training and health and wellness advocacy resources and vendors. With the support of community sponsors like Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, KeyBank and Northland Workforce Training Center, Sadie Strong has been committed to providing health and wellness programs and resources to the community since its founding in 2018.

Sadie Strong is a charitable nonprofit breast cancer support organization that promotes the early detection of breast cancer and inspires healthy lifestyles to women in the Buffalo Niagara region. Sadie Strong offers a variety of programs and services that provide awareness, support and empowerment to women affected by breast cancer. Sadie Strong also recognizes and honors breast cancer survivors and shares inspirational stories and messages of faith and hope. Sadie Strong is a labor of love inspired by the founder, Sharon “Sadie” Sanford’s, journey with breast cancer.
