Blanc Photographie Invites Public to "Queen City" Art Auction & Fundraiser Photoshoot
Community Invited to Participate in New Photo Series Celebrating Buffalo
What: Yves-Richard Blanc invites the community to Blanc Photographie’s studio to purchase art and participate in a unique photoshoot experience. Attendees are asked to arrive with their own interpretation of the "Queen City." These portraits will become part of a new photo series serving as an ode to Buffalo.
When: Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 9 AM – 6 PM
Where: Blanc Photographie (Tri-Main Center) 2495 Main Street, Suite 516, Buffalo, NY 14214
Why: The day-long event serves as both a fundraiser and an artistic collaboration. Participants will have their portraits taken by Yves Richard Blanc, contributing to a larger narrative about the people of Buffalo. The resulting photo series is scheduled to be displayed in an upcoming exhibit at the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT) in January 2026.
The event will include several interactive elements for attendees, including:
● Art Auction: Opportunities to purchase original art pieces.
● "Queen City" Photoshoot: A stylized session where community members interpret the theme.
● Fundraiser: Supporting the creation of the new series and upcoming exhibition.
Designed as an immersive experience, this event connects the artist with the community, allowing Buffalo residents to become the subject of the art itself. It is a celebration of local identity, creativity, and the regal spirit of Buffalo..
