State Tabernacle Hosts “Taste of Tabernacle”

On August 8, 2026, from 1pm-4pm the Mothers’ Board of State Tabernacle COGIC located at 234 Glenwood Avenue cordially invites the community to the first ever “Taste of Tabernacle.” The host for this event is Mother Rose Malone is, Mothers Board President, Supt. Russell C. Bell is the host pastor. This event will be in the church’s dining hall and the parking lot.
At this event, the community can sample and enjoy a variety of foods and side dishes— ribs, chicken, and an assortment of desserts prepared by the mothers of the church. There will also be a basket raffle and entertainment.
Tickets for this event are $20.00 for ten tickets to sample delicious food and can be purchased in person by cash or using cash app $wash2bflo. People interested in being a vendor at this event can obtain a table for $20.00, and space will be available in the church’s parking lot.
