The Buffalo Inner City Sports Legends is proud to announce there annual 2025 awardees for its Award night being held November 26, 2025

The event has moved from the Rose Bar to the George F. Lamm Post  at 96 Wehrle Dr, Cheektowaga N.Y There is a $25 entrance fee.

The group has been in existence since 1991 and was formed by Richard Clark, Zellie  Dow. Lum Smith, Gilbert Hargrave and LeRoi C Johnson . Leroi stated that our mission is to recognize athletes , past and present who have excelled in sport and have brought recognition to our community .This year’s lifetime achievement award goes  to the Buffalo Criterion News, and Legacy Award goes to Curtiss Cannon.  Past awardees include Bob Lanier , Harvey Austin, Ricky and Jimmy Williams and Ricky McCarley .
