4th Grader James Wright Competes for America’s Favorite Student
James Wright, a 4th grade student at Our Lady of Victory Elementary School in Lackawanna, New York, is currently participating in the America’s Favorite Student Competition, a national initiative that celebrates students who inspire others through learning, leadership, and community impact.
James is known for his curiosity, bright personality, and growing passion for science, STEM, and discovery. His participation in the competition shines a spotlight on youth achievement, educational inspiration, and the importance of encouraging children to dream big.
James has already captured the attention of those around him through his enthusiasm for learning, hands-on STEM activities, and the joy he brings to exploring how the world works.
Through the competition, James is also helping bring awareness to The Planetary Society, an organization committed to advancing space science and exploration. That connection makes his story especially meaningful for children who dream of becoming scientists, inventors, engineers, and future leaders.
“James has a natural spark,” his family shared. “He loves learning, asking questions, and discovering how things work. This competition gives him a chance to shine, but more importantly, it gives other young people someone to look up to.”
In addition to his aca demic interests, James is the young face behind James Does It All, a platform that highlights his love for STEM, discovery, and creative learning. Through it, he shares moments that inspire other children to explore, ask questions, and enjoy learning in everyday life.
As his community rallies around him, James’s journey is becoming a reminder that when children are encouraged, supported, and celebrated, they can do incredible things.
