A Celebration of Officer Juan Phillip’s Retirement

A celebration of Officer Juan Phillip’s retirement from the Buffalo Police Department was held on May 1 at Performing Arts High School. Juan Phillips, both an officer and gentleman, was one of the longest serving officers with the B.P.D., whose career spanned over 40 years. His duties varied over his years of service—patrolman, Mayor Masiello’s personal security, and Buffalo Public Schools. This photo shows from left-to-right Anthony Masiello, Mrs. Masiello, Juan Phillips, and Rosalin Burgin.
