Comptroller Barbara Miller Williams hosted a Public Meeting of the City of Buffalo finances on September 10, 2025, at the Buffalo and Erie Public Library (Downtown). The topics discussed were the role of a comptroller; the capital borrowing process; and fiscal responsibility. The guest speakers were City of Buffalo Comptroller, Barbara Miller Williams; Delano D. Dow ell Sr., Deputy Comptroller; Gregg Szymanski, Investment and Debt Management; William Ferguson, City Accountant; Sam Bruno, City Auditor. The event was free and open to the public.
