Buffalo Niagara Celebrates 53 Years of Black Achievement and Leadership

The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center came alive Friday, October 10th to celebrate the 53rd Annual Black Achievers Awards. 46 individuals were recognized for their accomplishments, along with four special awardees. Dr. James A. Lewis III served as the moderator and Pheban Kassahun was the Mistress of Ceremonies. David Vaughn Herring, Will Holton, Jacquline Copeland, and Denisa Osbourne provided the event’s music. Herbert Bellamy Jr. is the event’s Chairman, and Derrick and Porsha Parson are the Co-Chairs.
