Buffalo’s St. Brian Clothiers has been invited to Cleveland to help the Camp Beyond the Box Boys Become Distinguished Gentlemen

Dewitt Lee, of St. Brian Clothiers, aids Cleveland youth program for young gentlemen, as they prepare to see the musical Hamilton.

Cleveland, OH – Saint Brian Clothier’s very own Mr. Dewitt Lee has landed in Cleveland with a mission: to transform the young men of Camp Beyond the Box into distinguished gentlemen—and he’s doing it in just three days. His program YG (Young Gentleman) is designed to help unlock self-confidence inside these young men and pair it with social and life success skills to equip them to see themselves as leaders.

Camp Beyond the Box’s founder Tina, discovered Dewitt Lee of St Brian Clothiers during a recent trip to Buffalo, where she saw him on the news dressing young men for prom at the Key Bank Center, in partnership with the Buffalo Sabres.

After further research, she discovered that Mr. Lee started this community resource after the tragic shooting at Tops Supermarket, located on Jefferson Ave, on May 14th, 3 years ago.

St. Brian Clothiers has been on the news very frequently with different campaigns to “Dress and Bless men in honor of the Jefferson 10”and traveling to provide dress clothes to men around the country is something he has already done in the past with his Buffalo Bills themed, Buffalo Mafioso Buffalo Love Tour, going to away games with the Buffalo Bills and dressing men in those communities.

On Monday, Mr. Lee brought not only a wardrobe of style but also a wealth of wisdom. He’s partnering with the camp to personally style every young man attending next Wednesday’s matinee performance of Hamilton at Playhouse Square. But this is about far more than clothing—Mr. Lee is here to build confidence, ignite self-worth, and model what Black excellence looks like in real-time. Mr. Lee says: “These young Black men are ready to be introduced to new skills and ways of thinking that will help them develop into being the very best version of themselves.

Social pressures and lack of positive influences can sway anyone from living out their truth, and thank God for programs like this one that provide productive learning environments and experiences during summer break It allows us the opportunity to work closely with these young men from our community who need the mentorship”

As part of their summer journey;

  • Campers will also be styling their own “rock star” costumes for a trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

  • Attend a game at Progressive Field, where they’ll attend a Cleveland Guardians game.

  • Visit Porsche of Beachwood. Youth will learn how car loans, credit, and interest work directly from industry professionals. They’ll even get to create their own videos on-site to post to Instagram, building both financial understanding and digital media skills.

  • They will also meet with celebrity chef Jeremy McBryde—of Comfort LA and Comfort CLE—will host a live cooking demonstration for campers.

“This is not just a fashion statement—it’s a future statement,” said Tina Affum, founder of Camp Beyond the Box. “Our boys are learning how to walk into a room and own their space. Mr. Lee is showing them how powerfully appearance, attitude, and knowledge can shape their path forward.”

Now in its third year, Camp Beyond the Box is a Catholic-based financial literacy and entrepreneurship camp serving Cleveland’s inner-city youth. But its curriculum dives deeper than dollars and cents.

The camp’s immersive model includes currency exchange, business building, aviation programs, arts collaborations, and hands on economic simulations. The goal: to prepare Black and Brown youth to become active economic participants, not passive bystanders.

Camp Beyond the Box is proving that real education takes place in the world—not just the classroom. For more information or to support this transformative program, visit www. youcanescapethebox.com.
