Community Event on Soil Sample Results

The Delevan Grider Community Center was the setting for this photo taken on December 8. Open Buffalo hosted a community outreach, to discuss the results of soil samples taken from 140 properties on Buffalo’s Eastside. Several local entities sponsored this meeting—Citizen Science Community Resources, University of Buffalo’s Department of Environmental Sustainability, and Open Buffalo. Greg Glover of Open Buffalo will release the findings in the upcoming week. The photo shows Zaneta Everhart (Masten Council Member), Francelle Parker (Open Buffalo’s Exec. Director), Jim Golden (Open Buffalo’s Environmental Coordinator), and Greg Glover (Open Buffalo’s Project Coordinator).
