HERTEL AVENUE AND MILITARY ROAD INTERSECTION REOPENS FOLLOWING WATER MAIN BREAK

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The intersection of Hertel Avenue and Military Road has fully reopened to traffic in all directions following a major water main break earlier this week.

Traffic signals at the intersection are fully operational, and normal traffic patterns have resumed.

“I want to thank the Department of Public Works and every crew member who responded quickly and worked tirelessly to complete emergency repairs and reopen this critical intersection within 48 hours for our residents and businesses,” Mayor Sean M. Ryan said.
