Historic Marker to Tribute the Late Mary B. Talbert

This historic marker pays tribute to the Late Mary Talbert. Mrs. Talbert was prominent Human Rights Activist and President of the National Association of Colored Women’s Club, and Officer in the Michigan Ave. Baptist Church. The marker was made possible by the William Pomeroy Foundation, Dr. Lillian Williams, and Michigan Corridor. The photo shows Khadijah Merriweather.
