Sadie Strong Hosted Free Community Health and Wellness Expo

Sadie Strong kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness month on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with the 7th Annual Sadie Strong Community Health and Wellness Expo at the Northland Workforce Training Center. The com munity event included health screenings, flu shots, HIV testing, Ask the Doctor work shop, fitness exhibition, hands only CPR training, health and wellness advocacy resources, and vendors. With the sup port of community sponsors like Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Key Bank and Northland Work force Training Center, Sadie Strong has been committed to providing health and well ness programs and resources to the community since its founding in 2018.

Sadie Strong is a charitable nonprofit breast cancer sup port organization that pro motes the early detection of breast cancer and inspires healthy lifestyles to women in the Buffalo Niagara region. Sadie Strong offers a variety of programs and services that provide awareness, support and empowerment to women affected by breast cancer. Sadie Strong also recognizes and honors breast cancer survivors and shares inspira tional stories and messages of faith and hope. Sadie Strong is a labor of love inspired by the founder, Sharon “Sadie” Sanford’s, journey with breast cancer.
