Simmons Joined Stronger Together Movement

Pastor Kenneth Simmons of the Coldspring Bible Chapel, at 100 Northland Ave. joined nearly 80 men from all walks of life for the “Stronger Together Movement.” The event commemorated The Million Man March in 1995, which was hosted by the Nation of Islam and others. The stronger together movement seeks to bring love and inspiration. The task is to inspire men in their role protectors and providers of their families and communities. The organization will host another event at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, Saturday October 18th at 12:00 noon. First lady Jenell Simmons and Pastor Marquitta Whitehead will lead the ladies in prayer for the men.
