“Solemn Time of Remembrance” Event

These photos were taken at Elim Christian Fellowship Church on May 14th during the “Solemn Time of Remembrance” event, which paid tribute to the lives lost at the Tops Mass Shooting. The program highlights included a prayer given by Reverends Betty P. Williams and Mark Blue (NAACP President, Buffalo Branch). Comptroller Barbara Miller-Williams, and Justice Craig Hannah of N.Y.S Supreme Court 4th District gave remarks. The event featured music performances from various acts: Brother Brian Freeman, Brother Henri Muhammad, Ras Jomo and Friends, and Pastor Valerie Foye. The program’s sponsors are Highmark Blue Cross & Blue Sheild, Jericho Road Community Health, and Buffalo Project Lab. Charley Fisher serves as the event’s President.
