The Exchange at Beverly Gray to Kick Off 4th Annual Black Business Month Celebration with “Bold Moves Only” Day Conference

Buffalo, N.Y. – Today, The Exchange at Beverly Gray announced their lineup of events for its 4th Annual Black Business Month Celebration in August. The month-long occasion will kick off with their inaugural "Bold Moves Only" Day Conference on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Seneca One Tower.

The event is free, but registration is required to attend. Guests can register for the conference through Wednesday, July 30, at [theexchangeatbeverlygray.org/event]theexchangeatbeverlygray.org/event.

The daylong conference aims to set the tone for a month of business-building, community connection, and unapologetic celebration of Black entrepreneurship in Buffalo. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, attendees will gain expert insights through workshops led by presenters in key business areas, including branding, public relations, startup funding, business grants, podcasting, accounting, legal structure, and more.

In addition, The Exchange will host the Youth Entrepreneurship Track during the day sessions, in partnership with The Foundry. This hands-on, high-energy experience invites youth ages 8 to 16 to create their own product, build a brand, and pitch their idea, all in one day. The youth track provides early exposure to business thinking in a fun and empowering environment that inspires Buffalo's youngest innovators, sparking leadership and creativity.

Following the day sessions, registered attendees will attend the Evening Celebration (5:00 PM–9:00 PM), featuring music, food, vendors, fireside chats, networking, and a keynote address from Fawn Weaver, award-winning CEO and Founder of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, one of the fastest-growing Black-owned spirit brands in America. Registration for the evening celebration closes on Friday, August 1, at 11:59 PM.

"The inaugural Bold Moves Only Conference is a major milestone for Buffalo's entrepreneurial ecosystem," said Executive Director of The Exchange at Beverly Gray, Derrick Parson. "August is Black Business Month. It's a time to center, celebrate, and equip Black-owned businesses with the tools, insights, and access they need to grow and scale. As an organization rooted in serving BIPOC and underrepresented founders, we're proud to offer this space for entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and founders of all backgrounds to learn, connect, and take bold steps forward."
