The Stronger Together Movement

Pastor Kenneth Simmons of the Coldspring Bible Chapel, at 100 Northland Ave. joined nearly a near capacity audience from all walks of life for the “Stronger Together Movement.” The Stronger Together Movement was held on October 18th for the commemoration of the Million Man March and hold a prayer service at Dr. MLK Park. The event was hosted by the Nation of Islam and others. The stronger together movement seeks to bring love and inspiration. The task is to inspire men in their role protectors and providers of their families and communities. The photo shows Jerry Bowman with his button from 1995’s Million Man March.
