(Buffalo, NY) Local award-winning writer and Director, Korey Green, is ready to launch The Romans series!  He would like Buffalo actors to be part of the Series. Korey wrote and produced The Romans, which can be seen today on Prime Video and on the local streaming network, SKOVU TV.

 About THE ROMANS - The Romans is a modern -day interpretation of Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar, set in Buffalo, NY. Mob boss Earl Roman runs his empire with an iron fist but a soft heart towards his people.  His rivals and his family relationships threaten the domain he built. While navigating the underworld, treachery, and a detective doggedly on his tail, he leaves his poor son, the Reverend, and his former protégé, Brucey B, behind to pick up the pieces of his empire, save his life, and avoid everything blowing up. Green has directed over 10 short films and a host of music videos, commercials, and a feature documentary,” The Experience,” which was shot in Ghana, West Africa. His film success includes the feature movie, “The Romans,” now on Prime Video, and the documentaries “The Forgotten City, and “The Blackness Project,” a feature-length educational documentary about culture and race from the African American perspective, which was written and directed by Korey.
