Senator Jeremy Zellner Named Chair Senate Standing Committee On Procurement And Contracts

(ALBANY, N.Y.) Senator Jeremy Zellner, representing New York’s 61st State Senate District, has been appointed Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Procurement and Contracts by Senate leadership, placing him in a key oversight role responsible for how billions of taxpayer dollars are spent through state purchasing and contracting.
The Procurement and Contracts Committee oversees legislation governing state procurement practices, contract transparency, and accountability in the use of public funds. As Chair, Senator Zellner will lead efforts to strengthen oversight, improve transparency, and ensure that state procurement policies are fair, competitive, and fiscally responsible.
