Once again I'd like to introduce myself. I am Kim Baker from Buffalo NY’s East Side

I've long since moved to new York City and for the past few years, my art has given me a sound purpose. The world has changed and the intimacy that people once valued has lost its way.  Through my art, I've found that we are all bound by beauty and the wonders of art. It’s the only time you can interpret what you see on the canvas and not be wrong; it's respected as a wonderful new perception.

This keeps the world of art a wonderful place to venture into; I've found it quite entertaining— a positive way to spend your time. I began sketching 2022, and it was amazing to see a likeness materialize in front of me—simply by looking at the details of a face. The ability to do this made me believe. This is a Charcoal sketching 2023 of my friend, the late Rick James.
