Black Achievers to Recognize Outstanding Community Members
On Friday, October 2, 2026, Black Achievers, Inc. will host the 54th Annual Black Achievers Awards Gala at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin Street. The organization will recognize another group of outstanding individuals, all of whom have inspirational stories of personal, professional, spiritual and community achievements. The event, an evening of fine dining, networking and entertainment, will begin with a Red-Carpet Reception at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner and awards presentations from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm.
Black Achievers, Inc. CEO, Herbert L. Bellamy, Jr., announced the Co-Chairs for this year’s gala are Andrew L. Davis, MBA, President and CEO of the Erie County Medical Center Corporation, and local entrepreneur, author, and inspirational speaker, Shetice Jackson, owner of the popular Cake Crazy Bakery.
