BOE announces early voting, election day poll site changes
Erie County Board of Elections commission ers Ralph M. Mohr and Howard J. Johnson Jr. today announced eight permanent poll sites changes, effective for the June primary and November general elections.
Each change received preclearance approval by the office of New York State Attorney General.
Early voting:
In the Town of Lancaster, the Depew Municipal Building, 85 Manitou St., will replace Our Lady of Pompeii. (Voters may use any of Erie County’s 38 early voting locations regardless of where they reside.)
Primary/General Election Day:
City of Buffalo:
The Broadway Market, 999 Broadway, will replace the Nativity Miguel Middle School.
The Polish Cadets of Buffalo, 927 Grant St., will replace Niagara Frontier American Legion. (This is a new poll site.)
The West Side Bazaar, 1432 Niagara St., will replace the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. (This is a new poll site.)
Town of Cheektowaga:
Cleveland Drive Presbyterian Church, 735 Cleveland Dr., will replace the Maryvale Drive Presbyterian Church
City of Lackawanna:
The LMHA Baker Homes, 135 Odell St., will replace St. Anthony’s Church. (This is a new poll site.)
Town of Lancaster:
The North End Fire Hall, 24 West Drullard Ave., will replace Our Lady of Pompeii. (This is a new poll site.)
Town of Tonawanda:
The Westchester Apartments, 55 Ralston Ave., will replace Knox Presbyterian Church.
Voters affected by these changes have been notified by mail. The public may visit elections.erie.gov or call 716-858-8891 for more information.
Early voting is Sat urday, June 13-Sunday, June 21, and Primary Day is Tuesday, June 23.
