Surianello General Concrete Begins Third Generation of Family Leadership

Contracting company sets standard for WNY women-owned concrete businesses

Buffalo, NY Surianello General Concrete Contractor Inc., a cornerstone of Western New York’s construction industry since 1957, is proud to announce that Clarissa Surianello has officially assumed the role of President and majority shareholder of the Company. As the third generation of her family to assume the primary leadership role, she notes her vision for the business as two-fold.

“It’s an incredible honor to continue the legacy that my family has built,” Surianello stated. “My chapter of leadership will be focused on advancing the growth, strategic planning, and standards embodying our family’s business name, while remaining rooted in the same principles that have guided Surianello for decades -- integrity, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.”

Company Engineer, Frank Surianello, is a second-generation leader of the contracting company. He has played a pivotal role in expanding their concrete capabilities and services and serving as a valued mentor and technical advisor for the family’s next generation. In acknowledging Clarissa’s new role, he outlines her business and leadership skills.
