The Celebration of Carl Johnson

The African American Cultural Center was the July 25 venue for these photos. Family, friends and loved ones gathered to celebrate the life of community leader, the late Carl Johnson. The memorial service was as he “wanted,” filled with loving words, music, food, and dancing. Attendees came from the “four corners” of Buffalo and beyond. The first photo shows Y’vonne Hargrave.
