Sadie Strong to Host Free Community Health and Wellness
Reflection, Relaxation and Rejuvenation is the theme for the 8th Annual Sadie Strong Community Health and Wellness Expo. In partnership with the Buffalo Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Sadie Strong will kick off Breast Cancer Aware ness month with a free community health and wellness fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10am to 1pm at the Northland Workforce Training Center located at 683 Northland Avenue in Buffalo.
The Expo will include health screenings, mammograms and prostate screenings, flu shots, HIV testing, Hands only CPR training, wellness classes, cardio line dance class, healthy meal prep demo and health advocacy and wellness resources. The Expo will also feature “The Wellness Sanctuary,” a dedicated space designed to encourage mindfulness, restoration and inner peace offering a variety of calming activities like yoga, sound bowl therapy, reflective journaling, puzzles, coloring and massage therapy.
On-Site Mammograms and Prostate Screenings The Roswell Park EDDY (Early Detection Driven to You) mobile unit will be on site providing mammograms and prostate screenings from 8:30am – 3:30pm.
