Council Member Everhart to Host Fourth Annual Buffalo Black Caucus to Empower, Uplift Black Community

Buffalo, N.Y. - Masten District Councilwoman and Common Council President Pro Tempore Zeneta B. Everhart will host the fourth annual Buffalo Black Caucus on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9 AM to 4 PM at Canisius University. The annual event, founded in the wake of the May 14 racist terrorist attack, aims to strengthen and uplift the local Black community through wealth building, empowerment tools, and holistic growth.
The Buffalo Black Caucus will feature a series of panel discussions and workshops led by local business leaders, community organizations, nonprofits, law enforcement, and public officials. The Caucus will also include community organizations and merchandise vendors, a networking luncheon, a livestream and podcast showcasing, youth programming, and live entertainment.
